Beit Finger community housing

Finger house

"Beit Finger" is a community housing center in the heart of Jerusalem, with maximum accessibility to the city center and close proximity to the Mahane Yehuda market and a variety of public transportation. The center is intended for young graduates, who are taking their first steps outside their parents' home. Most of the residents of the house in the age range of 22-35, have severe physical disabilities, multiple sclerosis patients, cerebral palsy, stroke victims and accidents, who receive a personal and adapted response to all their needs while maintaining the element of independence and their rights.

Our work processes

At Beit Finger, we continue the actual application of those very unique and advanced work processes that have been accumulated on the basis of extensive experience and professional knowledge in the field of rehabilitation treatment in the same population with severe physical disabilities with normal cognition, patients with multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and stroke victims.

Processes based on: - Use of the most advanced treatment technologies in the world. - Diverse and extensive activities for leisure and employment. - Focus on encouraging and developing independence as a rehabilitation lever.

Leading a unique concept, in which the framework adapts itself to the tenant, to his needs and desires (person-oriented service).

In our vision, we see a combination between a house full of volunteers from normative populations who surround the residents, alongside the integration of the residents with a normative population outside the framework in entertainment, trips, tours and performances throughout the city.
